Dell XPS 12

According to reports, computer maker Dell is making its own Surface 2-in-1 tablet clone, called the Dell XPS 12, which will feature a kickstand and a 4K display.

The German news site Giga.de has leaked some pictures of Dell's new hybrid laptop onto the web. It appears that Dell's new product can take the tablet market by storm.

Leaked pictures show a new personal computer that Dell apparently plans to call the XPS 12.

The company's  keyboard for the new tablet will sport an illuminated keyboard and a touchpad that works flawlessly. This could threaten the Microsoft Surface Pro because its keyboards have not delivered flawless and efficient functionality.

The upcoming tablet will be released in October. According to several reports, the tech giant Microsoft will also release the the Surface Pro 4 in October.

According to leaks, the next Dell XPS 12 will sport a 3840x2160 4K screen, far better than what is offered by the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. What's more, the tablet will have 10 hours of battery life. The new XPS 12 will  have a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. Furthermore, the device will have a Thunderbolt 3 connector instead of USB 3.0.

However, at present, there is no information about the amount of memory, the processor and the price.

According to PCWorld, if we have so many products with the same feel and look - the upcoming Surface Pro 4 and Surface 4, XPS 12,  Lenovo Miix 700, Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 - competition can bring prices down.
