Kristen Stewart admitted that the end of her relationship with Robert Pattinson was extremely excruciating.
The couple starred together in the "Twilight" franchise and were reported to be engaged and had lived together in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. They split in April 2013 just six months after the final film "Breaking Dawn Part Two" was released.
The "Twilight" actress reportedly caused her breakup with Pattinson, by allegedly cheating on him with her "Snow White And The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, in 2012.
In an interview with the Daily Beast "Clouds of Sils Maria" star candidly talked about filming "Equals" and about her personal life as well.
"It was incredibly painful," Stewart told the publication when asked about what it was like filming "Equals" just two years after her split with the British actor.
"Ugh, fucking kill me. It was a really good time for [Nicholas Hoult and I] to make this movie. Not all of my friends have been through what I've been through, or what some people have tasted at a relatively-speaking young age, and we were not expected to do anything. Everything that we did was explorative, and a meditation on what we already knew," said Stewart.
Like Stewart, Nicholas had split from Jennifer Lawrence right before he started filming "Equals." So, both co-stars shared the same pain reported the Mirror.
Both Stewart and Pattinson have moved on with their new love interests and the British actor is already said to be engaged to his girlfriend FKA twigs.
The duo has been dating for just over a year. Meanwhile, Stewart is said to be in a relationship with her personal assistant Alicia Cargile.
"Equals" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 13. American science fiction romantic drama film is written by Nathan Parker and directed by Drake Doremus.
