Ilkka Paananen, co-founder and CEO at Supercell and partner at Lifeline Ventures, is more than just "Clash of Clans" maker.

"Clash of Clans" updates will be announced in ClashCon to be held in Helsinki, Finland on Oct. 24 and fans should expect to see reworked lightning, poison, earthquake, and freeze spells.

According to Game Zone, mobile game developer Supercell has already started big update announcement for Oct. 24, but a minor update concerns the works, apparently available this week.

Supercell unveiled a sneak peek on YouTube on one of the new features - the Level 7 Lightning Spell at Town Hall 10. The implication is that Level 6 Lightning Spell will be accessible at Town Hall 9, and together with Level 5 Lightning, their damage decreased.

However, Level 7 Lightning Spell will be more powerful and make the bolts strike close together for precision, indicating that aiming will be very critical. The last major update for the game happened in July for "The Dark Spell Factory," providing players with new dark spells.

For the upcoming updates, the new dark spells are Earthquakes that destroy all buildings and walls within the vicinity. There are also Hates to speed up the movement for players' attacking units and Poison to slow down and drain the energy of the defending troops. All new spells are developed through the "Dark Spell Factory."

Supercell also said that there will be advancement on Earthquake and Poison spells, and the introduction of the new function for the Freeze spell. Currently, Poison spell levels up inn destruction if it stays longer on the surface, in addition to increasing damage to units within the poisonous radius while decreasing the attack frequency of opposing troops.

On the other hand, is the Earthquake spell is on top of a building, it will cause 25 percent destruction irrespective of hit points left in the structure. Freeze spell can serve to freeze air troops.

More speculations for the October ClashCon include the Town Hall Level 11 that will reportedly be launched in 2016, a third hero serving as an April Fools prank, Level 10 Walls, and the new Dark Barracks troops, Gotta Be Mobile reported.
