A snapshot of the Nexus 5X/ (2015) is expected to be launched on Sept. 29.

The next Nexus smartphone and Phablet from Google have been the focus of rumor mills on a daily basis. Latest leaks of the LG Nexus 5X aka Nexus 5 (2015) show a black model from the internal representation of the smartphone.

This month seems to be very busy for many tech companies when it comes to announcements and release of flagship smartphone and phablet. Apple Inc. has just completed its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, whereby the two smartphones sport 3D Touch Screens, 12MP main iSight camera able to capture 4K videos at 30 fps, and an A9 processor that is faster. The two smartphones from Apple, 4.7-inch iPhone 6S and 5.5-inch iPhone 6S Plus, will hit the market on Sept. 25.

It is anticipated that Google also wraps off its next iteration Nexus smartphone and phablet on Sept. 29, on the same day that HTC will release its A9 model. There is no official confirmation from Google on the launch event, but according to Tech Times, the event will occur on Sept. 29 in San Francisco.

Google Inc. will emulate Apple by launching two new Nexus devices - the 5.2-inch nexus from LG that will compete Apple's iPhone 6S and Huawei Nexus phablet to face off iPhone 6S Plus.

The latest leakage offers a different look of the LG Nexus 5X in black, in addition to unveiling the final specs of the smartphone. According to Android World, the sneak peek comes from an internal presentation.

The recently leaked image is similar to the previous Nexus 5X in white variant. Furthermore, visible from the image is a rear Touch ID-like fingerprint scanner that is slightly below the reported 13MP camera. The camera has a two-tone LED flash and the manufacturer's famous laser autofocus.

Reportedly, the Nexus 5X/ (2015) will sport a 5.2-inch 1920 × 1080 full HD screen, 2GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal memory, and a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.

Customers will have a choice of purchasing either the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow-powered LG Nexus 5X of the larger and more powerful Nexus phablet from Huawei.
