Quarterback Battle: Seahawks' Russell Wilson vs Packers' Aaron Rodgers

The Seattle Seahawks were left dumbfounded by their shocking 34-31 overtime loss against the St. Louis Rams last Sunday. They now face a more formidable opponent, the Green Bay Packers, who turned back the challenge of the Chicago Bears in their road season opener.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks' 18-point fourth quarter performance was not enough to salvage a win at the Edward Jones Dome as the Rams scored a field goal in OT to finally put away the Super Bowl XLIX runners-up, via Yahoo Sports.

Seattle actually led 31-24 under five minutes remaining in regulation but they were unable to hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, the Packers are coming off a 31-23 triumph over the Bears as quarterback Aaron Rodgers had another great performance, as per Fox6 Now.

Chicago's defense had no answers for Rodgers, who passed 18-of-23 for 189 yards and three touchdowns with a QBR of 94.4.

The 31-year-old signal caller made good use of all his five wideouts as their top wide receiver, Jordy Nelson, is out for the season.

Seattle has perhaps the best defensive team in the league right now but with Rodgers firing in all cylinders, it would be difficult to stop Green Bay's attack.

Prediction: Packers win, 35-31
