Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber split last October after four years of dating, but she still has a special place in her heart for him.
In an interview with Elle magazine Gomez admitted that Bieber is her good friend only. She appears on the cover of the October issue of the Elle magazine.
The "Good For You" songstress said that this interview with Elle's Mickey Rapkin is her absolute favorite and candidly talked about her personal and professional life.
"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that. We grew up together. I think people want it to be different (but) I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner," told Gomez to Elle Magazine.
Asked if they could get back together again, Gomez replied, "I don't know. I'm sick of all of it,"
Gomez, 23, and Bieber, 21, started dating in 2011 but split the next year. In 2013, they rekindled their relationship, but now are only good friends.
"I'll forever support him and love him," she said. "We grew up together."
And while the brunette beauty never wants to let down her fans, Gomez added that their relationship is healthy and they respect each other.
"We're too young for that. Nobody was married," she said. "I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."
Gomez also disclosed the moment where she sensed she ultimately got over Bieber. That was at the American Music Awards, right before her performance of "The Heart Wants What It Wants."
In the meanwhile, she is spotted enjoying a dinner with her David Henrie. The duo was seen dining together at Tosconova restaurant at The Commons on Sept.16, Wednesday in Calabasas, Calif. the Daily Mail reported.
The duo pair met during the shooting of "The Wizards of Waverly Place." Gomez was first linked to Henrie in 2014 when she split with Bieber. The two former co-stars dined together before Gomez's Revival fan event the next night.
Gomez, 23, however, said in the aforementioned interview that she is dating someone, but her focus if on her career rather that to be in a serious relationship.
"Finding somebody is not my main focus. I've dated people. I've been on a few dates, which is really exciting," the starlet said.
