Kanye West unveiled his Yeezy season 2 collection at the NYFW in the presence of the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner and other guests.

Amidst all the fuss over Kanye West's decision to exhibit the official New York Fashion Week Calendar, the rapper unveiled his Yeezy Season 2 on Sep 16, Wednesday. The collection was on the lines of Yeezy I which was in collusion with Adidas which is not this time.

The Skylight Modern in Chelsea eventually saw a star studded event unveiling the second collection of Yeezy, post all the contemplation and apprehension over the ethos on arrangements at the nick of time.

The Yeezy II collection was all about body suits and layered utility separates in monochromatic shades of black and tan. Models walked in long coats, hoodies, parka jackets, custom-made canvas pants and parka jackets in nude shades.

Models marched in the ramp in a brigade group which was organized by the Italian contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft. They walked in a troop of 4 to 12 at once led by a model who acted as the brigade commander shouting orders to the rest, reports The New York Times.

Apart from the collection, what was notable about the show as the guest list which included Kanye's spouse Kim Kardashian along with their daughter North West, Kardashian sisters Kourtney and Khloe, Vogue's Editor in Chief Anna Wintour, Ricardo Tisci, Seth Meyers and Lorde covering the front row.

Kendall Jenner who was expected to walk in the show was instead found sitting in the second row alongside rapper 2 Chainz, and Latin singer Miguel along with other guests such as, Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder.

While one of the attendees named Mike took to Twitter criticizing the collection saying that the models appeared as if they were from district 12 in the Hunger Games, another Twitter follower took a dig at West that it must have taken a fortune to appear underprivileged.

However, West found his set of supporters too and according to Mail Online, one of them was Ella Alexander who appreciated West's show for being racially diverse by using models of different shapes, sizes and from diverse native background.

Along with the new collection West also launched his new song which features Post Malone and Ty Dolla.
