Google Nexus 6 (2015) To Be The First-Ever Nexus Smartphone To Offer 128GB Of Storage

Google Nexus 6 (2015) will be the first-ever Nexus smartphone to offer 128GB of storage

According to reports, the tech giant Google has confirmed that it has an event scheduled on September 29. The search giant has already issued invitations to a September 29th event in San Francisco. Rumors are also doing the rounds that the tech company will announce the new Nexus smartphones - Nexus 6 (2015) aka Nexus 6P and Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X at the event.

Huawei-made Nexus 6 (2015) will be released in three storage variants - 128 GB, 64 GB and 32 GB, Android Police reported. If this occurs, it will mark the release of the first-ever Nexus smartphone in 128 GB. In 2014, the Nexus 6 came in 64GB and 32GB storage variants. However, LG Nexus 5 2015 aka Nexus 5X will come in 32GB and 16GB variants only. Also, the Nexus 6 2015 is unlikely to come with a microSD card slot.

According to several reports, the Nexus 6 2015 will come with USB Type-C and a fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the upcoming Nexus 5 2015 will sport a a fingerprint scanner and a 5.2-inch screen.

According to a BGR report, the Nexus 6 2015 aka Nexus 6P will feature a 5.7-inch QHD screen at a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The smartphone will have 3GB of RAM and will be powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC. In addition, the Nexus 6 2015 will have an 8-MP front-facing selfie camera and  a 12-MP rear-facing camera with support for 4K video recording.
 
On the other hand, the Nexus 5 2015 will have 3GB of RAM and will be powered by Snapdragon 808 processor. Also, the new Nexus smartphone will have a 2,700mAh battery. Several reports suggest that the new Nexus smartphones will run the latest Android M (Marshmallow) software.
