The Google Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X will have the same performance, processor and price as the Moto X Pure Edition (2015).
According to reports, the new Nexus smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon hexa core 808 processor and will have 3GB of RAM. The Moto X Pure Edition is also powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and has 3GB of RAM.
It is expected that the new Nexus 5 will come in 32GB and 16GB internal memory variants. However, like other Nexus devices, the Nexus 5 smartphone has no microSD card slot. The Moto X Pure Edition (2015), on the other hand, has three variants of internal storage - 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Plus, the device has a microSD card slot that can be expanded up to 128GB.
The Nexus 5 2015 will be the first to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, according to International Business Times. The handset is expected to have a 2,700mAh battery. On the other hand, the Moto X Pure Edition has a 3,000mAh battery. The Nexus 5 2015 will have a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Moto X Pure Edition has a 5MP front camera and a 21MP rear camera.
The Moto X Pure Edition has a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The upcoming Nexus 5 smartphone has a white plastic back with a fingerprint scanner situated below the rear camera. Also, it is expected that the Nexus 5 2015 will have a 5.2-inch display.
The 16 GB Nexus will cost around $399 and the 32 GB Nexus will cost around $449, according to Venture Capital Post. The 16GB Moto X Pure Edition is priced at $399, the 32GB is priced at $449 and 64GB is priced at $499.
