Tom Hiddleston is unsure about his return as Loki in "Thor Ragnarok." During the promotion of his upcoming film "The Crimson Peak," the actor said that he does not know anything about his return.

"I don't know. I thinking I won't be able to help it if I ever play him again, and I just don't know when that's gonna happen, if that's gonna happen," Hiddleston told Coming Soon

It was in "Thor: The Dark World"  that Loki was seen last. Hiddleston did not reveal many details about the film's plot but he said that he has spoken to Chris Hemsworth, who played Thor, about the characters of the film, who production will reportedly start in 2016, and they both think that they have evolved.

Meanwhile, Hiddleston also spoke about his contract with Marvel studios. He told Collider that only Marvel boss Kevin Feige knows about his contract saying, "It feels like the Marvel Universe is expanding at such a rate. I'm not being coy. I don't know where Loki fits into that."

The last time Hiddleston played Loki was in "Thor: The Dark World." He camouflaged as Odin and took hold of the Asgard throne. If Loki does feature in the trilogy-capper, the impact of that ending scene on his portrayal will be interesting. What exactly happened to Odin (Anthony Hopkins) also remains to be seen.

"Thor: Ragnarok" premieres on Nov. 3, 2017. Hemsworth is set to return in title role and Jamie Alexander as Lady Sif. The film will be based on comic book characters by Jack Kirby.
