Forget Google Nexus 2015 – Motorola Nexus 6 Gets Even More Tempting At $300 Via eBay

Rumors say any of the Google Nexus 2015 flagships on release date will sell no more than $400 with the LG Nexus 5 2015 or Nexus 5X likely to start at $350. The initial sticker price seems irresistible but Android fans need to take note that the Motorola Nexus 6 over at eBay is ready to ship out for only $299.

To sweeten the deal, the giant auction site will deliver the vanilla Android kit to U.S. buyers absolutely free of charge. A quick scan of existing Nexus 6 deals will show that what eBay dangles is the best for Nexus fans to get. Both Amazon and Best Buy offer the 2014 Google hero phone for $350.

Now paying $300 for the last year Nexus is a steal by any measure. The unlocked device boasts of 32GB storage space and stands on the following platform - a Snapdragon 805 chip with 3GB of RAM and a pure Android OS version running the show.

The front panel is 5.9-inch, which for some seems oversized, with Quad HD and the power juice source is a massive 3220mAh battery. Motorola equipped the Nexus 6 with a 13-megapixel main shooter, paired with a 2MP cam on front. The combo nearly measures up with the 12MP rear and 5MP front camera system that the Huawei Nexus 6 2015 or Nexus 6P will reportedly rock so anyone wielding the slightly older Nexus 6 will not be lagging behind.

And one thing is sure as the Nexus 6 is a native Android device - it will soon get Android 6.0 Marshmallow in all its glory and definitely raw form. The attached benefits include direct access to firmware patches and update, just like its fresher brothers - the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

Google has also assured that Nexus devices will enjoy two to three years of software support. For Nexus 6 buyers this means that they'll get the next Android version in 2016 and continue to get security updates from Google for another 12 months. Such extended lifecycle for an outgoing flagship is indeed hard to resist.

Essentially, Android fans planning to take advantage of eBay's Motorola Nexus 6 promo can skip the Google Nexus 2015 unveiling on September 29, which is expected to unbox the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P.
