Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise have parted ways years ago, but the actress is still very much in touch with the kids whom they have adopted as a couple.
The 48-year-old actress was talking with DuJour Magazine when she revealed that although her adopted kids live far apart, she uses the internet and technology to stay regularly in touch with them.
"I'm definitely engaged in it but I don't let it rule my life," quipped the actress on being quizzed what is her relationship with the technology.
The "To Die For" actress married Cruise in 1990 after which they adopted a boy and a girl. Although the former couple parted ways in 2001 and are now rarely seen together in public, Kidman has seemingly not shied away from her responsibilities towards her adopted kids.
Isabella, 22, lives in London while Connor, 20, is a DJ and both of them are happily leading their lives, the actress told the publication.
The actress, who herself lives in Nashville with her rocker husband, Keith Urban, and her two daughters, Sunday Rose, 7, and Faith Margaret, 4, revealed that she, however, does not depend on technology to remain close to her husband.
Kidman declared that she does not text or email her husband and rather prefers to hear his voice in person when they are apart.
Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning actress donned the cover of a special edition of The Hollywood Reporter which throws light on the top 25 red carpet designers in the industry. The Aussie beauty has sported a striking black and white dress while posing alongside her favorite designer Alexander Wang.
