Fall Out Boy and All Time Low admitted that they all are big fans of 5 Seconds of Summer. It was said that a collaboration may just happen anytime soon.
Speaking to Sugarscape, Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy said that the members of 5SOS are all "genuinely nice guys." He also called them "good musicians," adding that he will be rooting for them to succeed in the music industry.
When asked about the possibility of doing a new song together, Wentz shared that they have always wanted to collaborate with Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford and Ashton Irwin. Due to their incredibly busy schedule, however, fans may just have to wait a bit longer before that happens.
Wentz assured FOB and 5SOS fans that they will release a new song together. He explained that they will try to keep it happen. He added that it was all a matter of timing.
Meanwhile, Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low shared that he was surprised of the overwhelming support of fans for 5SOS. The guitarist revealed that he was able to witness how crazy their supporters can get.
Although Gaskarth admitted that he "had no idea what to make of" the songs the band has released so far, he said their fanbase is powerful beyond belief.
In an interview with Shazam, Wentz revealed that it was a very exciting time to be part of the pop punk scene. He praised both 5SOS and All Time Low, adding that both bands were absolutely "killing it."
Wentz added that they were really impressed with how the boys of 5SOS really knew their instruments. He said that they were all really sweet and funny.
