OnePlus 2 Mini Specs, Release Date Surfaced Online

OnePlus 2 Mini looks like the OnePlus in terms of design.

A set of leaked images displayed the specs and design of the smaller OnePlus smartphone, or known as OnePlus 2 Mini.

The leaked images were first seen at Chinese website Mobile-dad, claiming that OnePlus 2 mini looks similar to previous devices in the OnePlus series. Rumors suggest that the company would not feature high-end specs in OnePlus 2 Mini, and it would instead be an affordable phone with mid-range specs.

It renders a black, angular handset, with a metal rim integrated. The front of the device does not offer any major design change, while its cover appears to be made of plastic/rubber.The back of the device shows an Apple Touch ID-like fingerprint scanner. The image appeared online also displayed a dual-camera set up with two LED lamps beneath camera sensors. The speaker grill is located at the bottom, along with Type-C USB 3.0 connector.

OnePlus 2 Mini or OnePlus A2301 is powered by a MediaTek MT6795T processor clocked at 2.2GHz and features a PowerVR Rogue G6200 series GPU for the graphics part. It is most likely to come with the company’s custom Oxygen OS on top of Android, according to AndroidPIT.

Although there is no information about the screen size, it should be smaller than the 5.5-inch display of OnePlus 2, and the device will have 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. Its 2GB of RAM comes with a 32GB of internal storage, along with the device’s main camera sports 13MP.

For the possible price of OnePlus 2 Mini, it can cost around $250, a lower price tag than OnePlus 2. It is also rumoured that the device will be available before the Christmas celebration of 2015, Android Headlines reported.
