"Arrow" season 4 will finally see Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) in a relationship.
However, some fans believe that the two should not move too fast and consider marriage anytime soon.
According to Design N Trend, there are a lot of reasons why Oliver and Felicity should remain boyfriend and girlfriend for as long as possible.
First, since the couple's relationship just started a few months back, this means that they still do not have that much foundation in terms of their relationship.
Some fans believe that everything that two went through in the past three seasons is enough to strengthen their bond. However, most of the things that happened had to do with professional lives, and not their personal lives.
Second, marriage should still be out of the question for Oliver and Felicity because creating this storyline will make The CW series "melodramatic."
Since the show is about a former vigilante trying to get rid of people who do bad things to Starling City, focusing too much on Oliver and Felicity's marriage may not be effective for the show.
The publication also noted that marrying each other could jeopardize Felicity's current position as the show's heroine.
If Oliver and Felicity were to get married anytime soon, the former would automatically want to protect the latter, so she might be stripped off this title.
Meanwhile, and Oliver-Felicity marriage storyline much later on in the series may also be a good twist for the show. However, as of late, it is believed to not be advisable.
"Arrow" season 4 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 7.
