Three villains so far have been confirmed to appear in Glen Winter's upcoming CBS television series "Supergirl."
According to Vine Report, Hellgrammite and Reactor are set to be Supergirl's adversary in the forthcoming television series. "Insurgent" actor Justice Leak will play Hellgrammite while "The Book of Eli" actor Chris Browning will play Reactor.
Meanwhile, Israeli actor Iddo Goldberg is set to play Red Tornado in Winter's "Supergirl," as per CBS. Described as the "ultimate superweapon," Red Tornado is Earth's most advanced and despicable android and he has the power to destruct the National City.
Goldberg is known for his roles in Edward Zwick's historical action drama film "Defiance," David Schwimmer's romance comedy film "Run, Fatboy, Run," and Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's action thriller film "The Tourist."
CBS' "Supergirl" follows the twenty-four-year-old Kara Zor-El, who was adopted by the Danvers family when she was 13. While she must pick up to grip her abilities after concealing them, her family instill to her how to use her powers with caution. She is set to unleash her powers during a surprising disaster, leading her path to heroism.
"Supergirl" Season one stars Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood, Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Calista Flockhart, and Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/ Kara Danvers/ Supergirl. Returning cast members include Laura Benanti, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and Glenn Morshower.
The first episode of "Supergirl" is entitled "Pilot." Winter is set to helm the television series, along with Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Ali Adler on board to pen the story.
Winter's "Supergirl" Season one pilot episode is slated to premiere in CBS on Oct. 26.
