iOS 9 is the ninth release of the iOS mobile operating system designed by Apple Inc. and the successor to iOS 8.

Apple iOS 9.0.1 has just been released to fix the issue that is affecting many iOS 9 users. If your iPad or iPhone and iPod is stuck on Slide to Upgrade, worry no more.

Slide to Upgrade bug has affected a tremendous amount of users after upgrading to iOS 9.  The fix can be downloaded to the user's device by simply connecting to their computer with iTunes.  One may also need to do a force restart to initiate the update.

After the initial glitch on September 15 for early getters of the fastest operating system so far from Apple, users of the new OS hit a solid wall. Apple devices were stuck on a Slide to Upgrade screen, which causes the update process to a halt. However, some users were able to continue with the upgrade by simply performing a hard reset on their device, BGR reported.

Apple then quickly released official documentation for users on how to get the new update to their Apple devices, especially for the Slide to Upgrade bug. The update is around 34MB in size, but may slightly differ depending on the device. Users can simply go to Setting then go to the Software Update tab to perform the much-needed update, Tech Times reported.

Apple devices that are simply not responding can use a USB cable and connect the device to a computer with iTunes, do a force restart by pressing and holding the home and the standby button for 10 seconds.  Wait for the Apple logo, and iTunes logo to appear before continuing the update.
