5 Reasons Why The New Electric Tesla Model X Might Be Too Good

Tesla Model X electric SUV has Falcowing doors that are hinged to a high-strength center-spine on the roof.

After a number of delays in the past two years, Tesla eventually released its long-awaited Tesla Model C high-end electric SUV.

Uniqueness in the car was evident when the California-based automaker confirmed the specs of this particular car.

Here are five reasons why the car is extremely awesome:

1. Falcowing Doors

Tesla Model X electric SUV has Falcowing doors that are hinged to a high-strength center-spine on the roof in addition to the second hinge found at the top of the side windows.

According to Learn Bonds, Tesla CEO Elon Musk pointed out that the actual beauty of the doors is the hidden ultrasonic sensors that detect its surroundings and the amount of available free space. The doors can open either vertically in narrow parking spots or horizontally in garages with low ceiling clearance.

2. The Panorama Windshield

Tesla Model X's panorama windshield is the single biggest piece of glass used on a production vehicle, according to Road and Track. The glass runs from the base of the hood and curves into the roof, wrapping the front passenger seats before ending before the B-pillar location.

According to Musk, the glass was created with many complex layers such as a tiramisu to create the gradation from the clear front visibility to the tinted sun-blocking glass above. Furthermore, there is a pair of sun visors that pivot from the huge A-pillars and snap tightly through a magnetic base on the center rear-view mirror.

3. Monopost Rear Seats

Normally, a fuel tank is placed beneath the passengers' rear seats. However, Tesla Model X replaced this space with the Monopost rear seats. A singular pole holds up each of the three behind passenger seats which provides extra under-the-seat storage space like that found in an airliner.

4. Battery Cell

The Tesla Model X 90D sports a 90kwh battery and two motors. It also boasts a handy "ludicrous mode" that extracts every ounce of power that the twin motors possess to as to propel the large SUV from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, surpass a quarter-mile 11.7 seconds, and hit an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

5. Bioweapons-grade Ventilation System

Tesla Model X has an engine-less design, which allows more space to re-imaging the HVAC system with almost zero restraints. As a result, the over-engineered ventilation system with a true HEPA filter is one of the most complex features ever found in a production car.

There is much technology found in the Model X that even Musk himself acknowledged that he somehow regrets making such an advanced vehicle.

He said, "There's far more there than is really necessary to sell a car. Some of these things are so difficult; they do make the car better, but the difficulty of engineering those parts is so high, that in retrospect, if we had known the true engineering costs and the amount of complexity associated with it I think we would have probably done fewer new things."
