Bill Cosby Might Face Charges Over 2008 Sexual Assault While Three More Women Raise Similar Allegations

Veteran Comedian Bill Cosby is facing sexual assault allegations from more than 30 women.

Bill Cosby is likely to be charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault on Chloe Goins at the Playboy mansion in 2008 as the LAPD turned the results of their investigation to the Los Angeles' County D.A.'s office for consideration on Oct. 1, Thursday.

The prosecutor's spokesman Jane Robinson declared that the LAPD's report is under review, Los Angeles Times reported. Goins accused Cosby of serious sexual assault at a party in Playboy's Holmby Hills mansion in 2008 when she was just 18. According to the formal complaint, she claimed that the comedian had given her a drink after which she passed out. When she awoke, she found herself naked on a bed with the comic star that was licking her toes with his pants around his ankles.

Goins filed the formal complaint in January after which she was interviewed for more than two and a half hours by LAPD detective. On the other hand, Cosby's attorney denied the allegation saying that he was not present at the party.

Cosby was accused by more than 30 women to date of drugging and sexual assault. However, he was not yet charged for any of the allegations since all such cases are beyond the statute of limitations.

Meanwhile, three more women have come forward on Sept. 30, Wednesday, accusing Cosby of sexual assault and drugging, CNN reported. The three new accusers were introduced by lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents more than 20 of Mr. Cosby's other accusers.

One of the Cosby's new accusers, former model and Mrs. America, Lisa Christie, who was also an extra on "The Cosby Show," claimed that the veteran comedian offered her a spiked drink at a hotel in Chicago.
