LG Nexus 5X, Huawei Nexus 6P Post-Release Update: Huawei Handset Competes Better With iPhone, Samsung Devices Though LG Has Nexus Imprint

Nexus 6P (codenamed Angler) is an Android smartphone manufactured by Huawei.

Google Nexus smartphones, the Nexus 5X by LG and the Nexus 6P by Huawei, have officially been revealed. Both devices are running the latest Android update, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which give users a whole new set of features to experience.

LG Nexus 5X specifications include a 5.2-inch display with a full HD screen protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and a 2GHz Snapdragon 808 hecta-core processor with a 2GB of RAM. It is available in both 16GB and 32GB worth of internal storage with a MicroSD slot for storage expansion. As for the camera, it has a 12-megapixel rear camera with a 4k resolution video recording capability, and to top it all off, it will also come with Type-C USB port and a 2,700mAh battery, NDTV reported.

LG Nexus 5X's most stand out feature of the device is the fingerprint sensor called Nexus Imprint, which is located at the back of the phone. The new imprint feature can be used in unlocking the smartphone and authenticating transactions in Android Play.

Huawei Nexus 6P, on the other hand, is quite larger than the 5X. It has a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2,560 x 1,440 screen resolution. It has a better set of specifications compared with the LG Nexus phone and stands as a tough competitor against the iPhone 6s and Samsung Galaxy S6. It is built with the snapdragon 810 processor with a 3GB RAM.

LG Nexus 5X by and Huawei Nexus 6P differ in terms of internal specifications, but remain as Nexus phones, thus sharing the same features such as the Doze mode, which saves up battery life, the Google Now on Tap which switches the Google now by double tapping the power button, and its compatibility with Google's Project Fi, CNET reported.
