LG G3 And LG G4 are confirmed to get Android Marshmallow update soon

According to several reports, Google Nexus devices such as the Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Nexus 7, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 will be the first to get the Android M update. After that, the LG G3 and LG G4 will be two of the first LG smartphones that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

According to G for Games, the electronics maker LG is getting ready to release Android Marshmallow update to three variants of the LG G3 (LG G3 F400S, F400K and F400L ) and three variants of the LG G4 (LG G4 F500S, F500K and F500L ).

However, there is no information on whether LG G Flex 2 and LG G2 will get the Android Marshmallow update or not. LG V10, which comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, will possibly receive the latest update.

Furthermore, according to previous reports, HTC will release the Android Marshmallow update to some of its devices by the end of this year. HTC One M9 and HTC One M8 will get the update first.

Meanwhile, according to SamMobile, the South korea-based Samsung is working on a massive update for the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6. These Samsung devices are already running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, therefore, the only big update anticipated is a jump to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Google Now on Tap, USB Type-C support, fingerprint scanner support, granular app permissions and Doze battery-saving feature are some of the features of Android Marshmallow. Android Pay is compatible with devices running on Android KitKat.
