NFL 2015 Season: Washington Redskins vs Atlanta Falcons, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Oct 05, 2015 09:23 PM EDT

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins (L) and Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman.

The Washington Redskins (2-2) are scheduled to visit unbeaten squad Atlanta Falcons (4-0) at the Georgia Dome on Sunday, October 11.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins remains a steady force for head coach Jay Gruden as resident starter Robert Griffin III is still unavailable for the season.

Cousins led the Redskins to a 23-20 victory over the hapless Philadelphia Eagles to level their win-loss slate, as reported by Fansided.

Meanwhile, the Falcons continue to be at the top of their game, particularly backup running back Devonta Freeman, as it annihilated the Houston Texans, 48-21, in their Week 4 game also at the Georgia Dome, via Yahoo Sports.

Freeman registered his second consecutive three-touchdown game to lead the NFL with seven TDs in the season. The 23-year-old sophomore, who was sparingly used during his rookie year and did not play in the whole preseason with a hamstring injury, said that he is just enjoying the opportunity to play and he is successful at it so far.

While the Redskins seemed to be getting accustomed to life without Griffin III, the Falcons looked unstoppable, and they are expected to pull off another blowout victory against Washington in Atlanta.

Prediction: Falcons win, 42-21.
