Nintendo NX Possible Games From ‘J-Stars Victory’ Developer, The Pokemon Company Hints

Pokémon GO is an upcoming augmented reality game for mobile phones made as a collaboration between Nintendo, The Pokémon Company and Niantic, Inc. who is known for their work on the game ingress .

Even with only a few details and information about the upcoming Nintendo NX, there are already a number of titles and developers reportedly interested in coming together to the console. The latest comes from the developer of the hit PlayStation brawler "J-Stars Victory."

Game developer Spike Chunsoft has now expressed its interest in creating a game for Nintendo's new platform. The studio has revealed its intention, stating that it will turn its attention towards the Nintendo NX once the work for the PS4 is done, Gaming Bolt reported.

The developer revealed its plans for future titles via the Japanese blog Esuteru, as translated by a Reddit fan Neoxon193. According to the blog post, Spike Chunsoft will release a new title in 2016, though the studio has not given any details about this. There is also no clue if this new title is still related to PS4 developments, or if it is the start of any efforts towards the Nintendo NX platform.

Currently, Spike Chunsoft is working on its PS4 exclusive titles. Apart from the Nintendo NX, the company also plans on creating games for Steam.

The Nintendo NX has also received attention before from The Pokemon Company, which is responsible for the Pokemon titles that came out on the Nintendo 3DS. While there are no confirmation yet about concrete plans, the Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara stated that they are looking into bringing both the Pokemon Global Link and the Pokemon Bank to the Nintendo NX, Express reported.

Pokemon fans know these to be the features in the Pokemon games, the most recent of which is the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." According to the report, this could be both a confirmation that the Pokemon games could come to the Nintendo NX, as well as the possibility of the company developing a gaming platform that makes bigger use of the cloud.

Nintendo is expected to reveal more about the new hardware, the Nintendo NX, sometime in 2016. For now, there are only a few platform patents spotted hat have been linked to the Nintendo NX, but so far never confirmed.
