Uncharted is an action-adventure third-person shooter platform video game series developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation consoles.

Naughty Dog released a few new screenshots of "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" straight from the PS4. These came straight from Writer Josh Scherr, Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Designer James Cooper.

The screenshot features scenes as well as the menu of the game. There is even a screenshot of a scene from after a fight, which Druckmann posted in Twitter. Other shots for "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" included a comparison shot between the past and present version, DualShockers reported.

Previously, Naughty Dog also revealed a few themes that will be at play in "Uncharted 4." Neil Druckmann, creative director and writer for the game, confirmed that a large part of the decisions in "Uncharted 4" will see players torn between the choice of passion and people. This means putting Nathan Drake at the crossroads of choosing between his passion in life and the people in his life that he cares for.

"Is there a way to reconcile that? That's the message of this game, and everything is constructed around that very simple concept," said Druckmann as quoted by PSU.

Interestingly, "Uncharted 4" will also be the last adventure wherein Drake will be the mainstay hero. The game will also bring back familiar faces, including Elena and Sully. How this development will play out in tune with the themes in "Uncharted 4," fans will have to see for themselves in the game.

"Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection" is already out this week on the PlayStation Store for both physical and digital versions. It will be available for download on Oct. 9. The collection is Naughty Dog's way of revamping the entire Uncharted experience before "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" drops on the PS4 next year on Mar. 18, 2016.
