The Polish translation of the much-awaited book "Winds of Winter" is rumored to be completed within the year.
Polish website Piesnloduiognia claims that translator Michal Jakuszewski has been entrusted with the task of translating the book from its original English version into Polish.
This implies that the actual English version of the book is completed or nearing the end. The much awaited book in the series "A Song of Fire and Ice," "Winds of Winter," is expected to be released next year.
According to Winter is Coming, author George R.R. Martin said that the moment he pens down the last word of the book, he will inform the fans through his blog. He is not the kind of a writer who adheres to deadlines.
He was earlier targeting the book to release before "Game of Thrones" Season 6 hits the television. However, due to his prior commitments, he was not able to fulfill this target. Oddly enough, the story in the TV show will now run ahead of the story in the books.
The book is likely to contain a lot of twists and turns. It is also expected to reveal the truth behind the parents of Jon Snow. Martin also hinted that many characters that are believed to be gone might spring up in this book.
In the meantime, the filming for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 is happening in full force in the city of Belfast. Kit Harington was seen shooting for a war scene, wearing the Stark colors. This might mean that Snow is not dead after all. "Game of Thrones" Season 5 ended with Snow lying in his own blood, after his own men stabbed him.
The show will premiere on April 3, 2016 on HBO.
