March 18th, a singer from Voice of China, Li Daimo was arrested in Beijing for taking drugs with other five suspects at Li's home in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District of Beijing. At 9:30 p.m. that night, Police cordon off the area around Li Daimo's property. At 9:40 p.m., several persons were grabbed by police and frog marched out of the police station. Li Daimo, in a blue hoodie, got on the escort vehicle quickly with lowered head.
Li Daimo comes from Heilongjiang Province of China. He participated in the first season of the voice of China, a Chinese reality talent show that premiered on 13 July 2012 on the Zhejiang Television network.
As Chinese showbiz is actually in chaos with quite a lot of bizarre news happening everyday, some conspiracy theorists believe Li Daimo was tipped off by some guys who were offended by Li previously.
