According to several reports, the tech giant Samsung will launch a huge 18.5-inch Galaxy View tablet in the forthcoming weeks. Several rumors are doing the rounds about the specifications and features of the tablet.

Reports suggest that Samsung is getting ready to unveil the Galaxy View tablet. The specifications and features of the tablet have been revealed after it was spotted in a benchmark database.

According to Daily Mail, Samsung Galaxy View tablet is powered by an octa-core 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos 7 processor, and sports an 18.5-inch 1080p touchscreen display. The slate has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.

In addition, the upcoming tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS capabilities and a 2 MP front-facing camera with the ability to capture HD videos and images. The tablet is said to have the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system on board. However, it is likely that the Galaxy View tablet will come with the Android Marshmallow operating system when released.

Several reports suggest that the Galaxy View will be 275.8mm tall, 11.9mm thick and 451.8mm wide. Also, the forthcoming tablet is expected to have a 5,700 mAh battery pack.

The South Korean company has yet to make an official announcement regarding the tablet. However, according to rumors, Galaxy View tablet will be released this month. It is expected that more announcements regarding the new tablet will be made pretty soon.

Also, according to The Verge, AT&T could be among the first wireless carrier to sell the new device when it goes on sale.
