OnePlus has a new and upcoming smartphone with codename One E1005.

A new OnePlus smartphone has appeared at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) page showing the unannounced device listed by One E1005.

The Shenzhen-based company is moving forward with a second phone, which has been mentioned in passing a few times. The details of One E1005 have been kept confidential, but there is one good image of it from the back and another not so good from the front. FCC is testing the device for regulatory compliance, and complete specification sheet is not guaranteed, according to Android Police.

The handset appears like a combination of an iPhone 5c and an iPhone 6, with a curved-edge black back, single-LED flash below the upper left-hand corner camera (vertically), and a logo just above the center. The front contains the display with black bezel above and below, and at the bottom contains two black lines, two sets of speaker grills, and a central USB port.

It comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, an FM radio, a 1.9 GHz processor, as well as support for LTE bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 and quad-band GSM. The WiFi radio also appears to lack 802.11ac. The document also suggests that it might run OxygenOS, a forked version of Android Lollipop, SlashGear reported.

The ruler in the back picture has the device at about 140-150mm tall and 60-70mm wide, which is slightly smaller than the OnePlus 2. It also sports a metal frame, and a back that is either plastic- or glass-made. Its dimensions are supposedly 139.7 x 55.8 x 6.85 mm, making the device oddly long and narrow device.

The Chinese tech company has a scheduled an event on Oct. 12 in India, with a possibility of unveiling the One E1005.
