5SOS fans will be surprised to know that the group may just be having a new member soon. One Direction's Niall Horan was reportedly thinking of joining Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford.
According to Unreality TV, it has long been rumored that the hiatus was only a façade for 1D members to explore their solo careers. Although it was said that they wanted to rekindle their lost relationships after going on tours and recording albums, many claim that each member wanted to pursue something different.
Hemmings has always been vocal about wanting to collaborate with Horan. He said that he would be willing to write songs for him if and when he decided to release his solo album. Hemmings has worked with One Direction before and said that he would want to see more of Horan's work in the future.
Some fans, however, were quick to point out that Horan should join 5SOS instead. They stated that the boys seemed to have a good dynamic together.
In other news, Irwin recently opened up about his depression during the "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour to The Daily Telegraph. He shared that he talked to Hemmings about his struggles, saying that he hated how they were living out of a tiny piece of suitcase for months.
Clifford said that try to give each other words of encouragement from time to time. He also admitted that it get to them every time people will say that they were not the band they thought they were. He explained that since most of their fans were also supporters of One Direction, they set high expectations.
