With Lamar Odom out of his medically induced coma, ex-wife Khloe Kardashian would now have free time to engage in a catfight with Dennis Hof. It would be a battle of reality stars as the two fight over who gets to share to the public via their respective reality shows more information about the former Lakers player.
USA Today reports that Khloe asked Hof, the owner of Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada (where Lamar was found unconscious on Tuesday afternoon after three days of doing cocaine, taking 10 tablets of herbal supplement with the same ingredient as Viagra and sex with two prostitutes) to stop talking to media. She accused Hof, who stars in HBO's brothel-based show "Cathouse" of milking Lamar's situation to promote his show.
While Lamar was in Spring Hospital & Medical Center, Hof disclosed details of Lamar's stay in the brothel, including the $75,000 bill and the name of the two sex trade workers who spent time with the athlete from Saturday to Tuesday. He also revealed on Wednesday that he got a call from the publicist of the Kardashians who asked him not to talk anymore because Khloe wants to do the talking. "I told her to go to hell," Hof shares.
Hof says he is talking about the incident to protect his businesses which are licensed and legal in parts of Nevada.
Khloe withheld updating her blog-like app before her ex-husband woke up from his coma. While some netizens chided people from blaming the Kardashians for the tragedy - since reports say that Lamar became depressed when he was portrayed negatively in a recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" - some believe Khloe would use the incident to gain more publicity.
The Kardashians denied they were shooting at the hospital to be shown in future episodes of their show aired over E! Network. They also insisted that they reached out to Hof politely to respect Lamar's privacy. They said, "This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad."
In Twitter, some people shared prayers for Lamar's recovery and healing. But Brandon complained that he is "pretty sick of hearing about Lamar Odom."
The improvement of Lamar's situation also triggered more negative feedback about Khloe with one comedian advising Odom to sign the divorce papers once he becomes stronger, but one Twitter points out that it was Khloe who stayed by his side while he was in coma.
One family member noticed to be quiet or absence in the hospital is Caitlyn Jenner, the former father-in-law of Odom. The Daily News reported she visited Lamar, but USnewsee says that the former Bruce Jenner was at a civil court where she lost a case. It was the day that Lamar woke from his four-day coma.
