With Fox having the film rights and Marvel's TV rights to the X-Men series and their characters, this development is being considered to be a notable one. The first "X-Men" series is "Hellfire," being produced for FOX network, while the second one is "Legion," which is being made for FX network. The deal is on the verge of being finalized, as confirmed by FOX.

With "Hellfire" being in the early stage of development and a pilot episode being ordered by FX for "Legion," as things stand, a healthy relationship in working together is in the offering.

Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg, co-producers of "X-Men" movie are teaming up with Jim Chory and Jeph Loeb of Marvel TV to produce this live "X-Men" TV shows. Others in the team include "24" alumni Manny Coto and Evan Katz, with JD Payne and Patrick McKay working on the pilot.

According to David Madden, president of Fox Broadcasting Company, FOX is thrilled to team up with Marvel in bringing to the fans the mythological characters of "X-Men" live on television.

Targeted date of release of these two "X-Men" TV series is anytime in the 2020, with FOX taking responsibility of the physical production. Speculations are ripe on how early fans could be treated to a thrilling exciting experience when the all-time great X-Men characters come live on the TV screen.
