Clash Of Clans (COC) Update News: Upcoming Upgrade Will Focus On Increased Difficulty, Balanced Setting & Richer Single Player Features

Supercell's "Clash of Clans"

Much of the speculations surrounding the anticipated Clash of Clans updates on October 24, rumored to be unveiled via the ClashCon event on the same day, are focused on the introduction of Town Hall 11 and a new Barbarian level. But Supercell appears more intent on spicing up the game and make it more interesting, a new report said.

While most of the swirling rumors could prove accurate, the reason behind these supposed bump ups should have been the focus of the narrative. It is likely that richer texture for COC gamers will define the core feature upgrades that Supercell is planning to unleash soon, Master Herald suggested on its report.

Level kicks up a notch higher

Game updates are designed to keep the interest going. For sure, many would readily embrace the provision of additional spells, the opening up of TH11 and the likelihood of seeing Level 8 Barbarians but they will be for nothing if the general setting will remain as it is. Many COC players are clamoring not only to see new things but also to take on fresh challenges to further hone their warrior skills.

"The general consensus seems to be that the game's skill ceiling needs to be raised sooner or later as players are more interested in trying out special new techniques and exploring what they can do on a higher level," Master Herald said.

Balanced gaming environment

At the same time, increased difficulty will not offset the perceived Clash of Clans balanced setting that the report said is a Supercell signature. Millions of gamers love COC for two things - for one, it lures in casual players and make them readily feel that they own the game.

Advanced players, however, remain hooked as Supercell adroitly fuse compelling storyline and adorable characters as the COC main draw. "There's something for everyone in there, and it looks like this trend is going to be continued and expanded on even further," the report said.

Individual gameplay

With the Clash of Clans, Supercell has created a community that connects gamers from different parts of the world but the COC maker is always careful to take good care of individual players. On this note, Master Herald is convinced that a richer Single Player mode is one of the highlights of the upcoming game update.

In introducing the new COC feature, Supercell "will expand the gameplay even more and make it more adequate for those who like to explore its features all alone," the report said.

Now the good news is the wait for all these new Clash of Clans goodies will likely end a few days from now as all eyes are trained on the October 24 ClashCon.
