Critics of the Kardashians have the medical crisis of basketball star Lamar Odom, the ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian, to thank for providing some respite from the endless and pointless selfies of the attention-seeking women.

X17 reports that with Lamar waking up on Friday from his medically induced coma, Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian immediately posted their new selfies. Kourtney's photo was taken at the gym, while that of Kylie and friend Stassi was taken at their house showing the two wearing onesies.

To justify the posting of her selfie, Kourtney wrote that workouts is her way of dealing with anxiety, referring to husband Scott Disick's own crisis over his uncontrolled partying.

Although the Kardashians had a moratorium on posting on their social media accounts from Tuesday when Lamar was found unconscious at Love Ranch after three days of partying and overdosing from herbal Viagra pills and cocaine, it was not a 100 percent stop. They still posted, asking for privacy which critics say was their way of having online presence.

A columnist even called them "monster family" for hitting Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof who took advantage of the situation to promote his business, while the Kardashians came with a camera crew to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center where Lamar is confined.

Now, a former Laker who introduced Lamar to Khloe, Metta World Peace, finds the hospital crowded with too many Kardashians, while Lamar's two kids by former partner Liza Morales - 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Jr. - have to wait in line to see their sick father, reports US Magazine. Also in the hospital are Kris Jenner, Khloe's mother, and Khloe's two sisters, Kim and Kendall.

Metta, who used to be known as Ron Artest, stresses that the only Kardashian needed at the hospital is Khloe. However, latest news says that most of the Kardashians had left because Lamar was transferred to an LA hospital.
