NetherRealm Studios has been quiet about the next DLC characters in "Mortal Kombat X" after confirming more DLCs to come. However, recently, Creative Head Ed Boon had teased via Twitter two characters that may be coming to "Mortal Kombat X."
Boon tweeted a photo of Drahmin and Havik. Fans immediately started asking if these characters will be part of the DLC for the game. Some are thinking that this can be another hoax or troll post from the developer. Others are considering one over the other, specifically Havik, as he was in the comics and is a character worth getting in "Mortal Kombat X."
The developer is not yet confirming characters as of this time. Some fans have voiced out their most wanted characters, with Smoke and Sindel being two of the more requested ones, Latin Post reported.
Over on the "Mortal Kombat X" mobile version, fans only have an entire day to finish the Erron Black challenge. The new challenge will require completion of the usual stages, similar to the challenges in NetherRealm Studios other brawler title, "Injustice Gods Among Us."
For the Erron Black challenge, players need to first go through the bronze bracket, which features 12 matches requiring all bronze characters to participate per team. The second, third and fourth tiers also feature 12 matches, but require silver and bronze characters, silver characters, and an Outworld character present in the team respectively. Finally, on the fifth tier, 15 matches will require Kung Jin as part of the team.
The last leg of the challenge will reward Erron Black, but also a couple of souls along the way. This is the perfect way for players to gather more souls in order to buy the Kombat Pack for gold characters or simply avail of individual gold characters in the store.
Some things to take note of is defeating Erron Black. Many fans have been expressing their frustration over beating the character even on Normal Mode and especially on Hard Mode. Fans are discussing what teams to use over at Reddit, with some putting forward powerful cards like Raiden, Quan Chi and Kenshi cards.
Other players also suggest using passives and gears that increase health and deliver Damage over Time, bleed or freeze to control Erron Black.
The hard part comes with his Death Bullets. Instead of gaining energy to deliver supers and specials, Erron Black occasionally has a roulette of bullets that players are forced to endure. The roulette contains three types of bullets, the energy drain bullets, the normal bullets and the Death Bullet. When a player lands on the Death Bullet, the fighter that is currently tagged in the game will die, regardless of his or her health bar.
The Erron Black challenge will expire on Oct. 22. NetherRealm Studios has yet to reveal which character will be included in the next challenge for "Mortal Kombat X" mobile.
