| Oct 21, 2015 11:17 AM EDT

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (#9) and wide receiver Calvin Johnson (#81).

A divisional matchup between the Minnesota Vikings (3-2) and Detroit Lions (1-5) are set in Week 7 of the 2015 NFL season at the Ford Field on Sunday and both teams will try to gain momentum from their previous wins as they face each other.

This is the second and last time these two squads will meet this season, and while the Vikings won the Week 2 encounter, 26-16, the Lions will try to return the favor this time at their home stadium.

Minnesota survived a defensive-minded affair with the Kansas City Chiefs, 16-10, coming out of a bye week last Sunday at the TCF Bank Stadium, as per Yahoo Sports.

Quarterback Terry Bridgewater passed 17-of-31 for 249 yards, and had one touchdown, two interceptions, and two sacks to lead the Vikings past the stifling Chiefs defense.

Meanwhile, the Lions finally won their first game of the season by outpointing the Chicago Bears in overtime, 37-34, as quarterback Matthew Stafford and wideout Calvin Johnson revived their partnership, via USA Today.

Stafford threw 27-of-42 for 405 yards and had four touchdowns while Johnson received six passes for 166 yards and a touchdown against the Bears last Sunday.

Detroit looks to carry over the energy of their recent win to grab their second straight victory, and also second win overall, as they unleash their full offensive might against Minnesota.

Prediction: Lions win, 21-17.
