The Atlanta Falcons (5-1) suffered their first loss of the season in Week 6 and they are out for an immediate bounce back performance as they visit the reeling Tennessee Titans (1-4), who will be playing without their rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota, at the Nissan Stadium on Sunday for a Week 7 NFL 2015 season matchup.
Atlanta dropped a 31-21 contest versus the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on October 15, as reported by CBS Sports.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees outplayed his Falcons counterpart, Matt Ryan, to lead New Orleans to only its second win in six outings.
Ryan had a decent game, passing 30-of-44 for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions, but was sacked five times for a 61.1 QBR and 102.0 rating. Still, it wasn't enough for the Falcons to pull off their sixth straight win.
Meanwhile, second overall pick Mariota playing through a knee injury at their home stadium was not enough to avoid a 38-10 humiliation in the hands of the Miami Dolphins, as per Yahoo Sports.
The 21-year-old signal caller is questionable in this game against Atlanta and should be filled-in by his backup Zach Mettenberger this weekend.
The Falcons would also like to take advantage of the Titans flimsy defense to try and post a lopsided victory on the road.
Prediction: Falcons win, 31-14.
