New "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 details will have Phil Coulson appearing in "Daredevil" TV series and a new promo sees Jemma Simmons' time in the alien planet.
Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb confirmed that both the movie and TV series will be referencing each other the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he stated that "It's All Connected" and citing referrence that they acknowledge that Iron Man, Captain America etc. have already been established and that Carl "Crusher" Creel/The Absorbing Man has already appeared in both "Daredevil" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", HNGN reported.
Before Marvel can develop the possible crossover plans, Loeb added that they must establish each character's individuality before crossing over ro another show or movie as they do not want Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) to just go over an episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." or Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) showing up out of nowhere in "Daredevil" season 2.
Gregg stated that he agrees with what Loeb planned as he stated that too many Easter egg references could get "old pretty quick".
In other news, a new promo trailer for episode 5 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will reveal Jemma Simmons' (Elizabeth Henstridge) time on the alien planet, ComicBook reported.
It was in the season 2 finale that Jemma was absorbed by the Kree Monolith and as it turns out it was a portal to another world from the far reaches of the galaxy. The trailer shows Jemma trying to survive the unknown alien world and will likely explain why she wants to go back that world for unknown reasons.
There have several rumors and speculations on what planet did Jemma landed on from Asgardian worlds like Hel, Svartalfheim to the Kree homeworld of Hala, Annovale 14 and The Klyn.
The showrunners stated that Jemma's situation was the "craziest thing" they have ever done within the show and all will be revealed in future episodes in season 3.
