'Minecraft: Story Mode' Update: Go After 'Order Of The Stone' As Jesse By Travelling Across Several Worlds Under Time Pressure

"Minecraft: Story Mode," which is based on the hit video game "Minecraft" was recently released by Mojang and Telltale Games. The new adventure-filled game allows its players to choose what happens to their characters.

An official statement was published on Telltale Games, saying "the newest installment to the "Minecraft" franchise is like a playable television show based on your favorite game, where YOU are the star, and your choices and actions decide how the story is told."

"Minecraft: Story Mode" game's lead playable character is named Jesse. He, along with a couple of friends would need to go on an adventure while attempting to save the world.

The synopsis of the "Minecraft: Story Mode" game states that while visiting EnderCon, the player's gang stumbles on something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and the only hope is to track down the Order of the Stone, a fabled group of adventurers who slew the legendary Ender Dragon. In a race against time, the player will travel across the over world, through the Nether, to The End, and beyond.

Each of the "Minecraft: Story Mode" episode will be rolling out periodically, telling the entire story throughout one season. According to Jonathan Dorbush of Entertainment Weekly, the pilot episode successfully ended. With this latest update, the game promises a sensational adventure even for players who have never played "Minecraft" before.

"Minecraft: Story Mode," can be downloaded on your PC or Mac. Visit the Telltale website and purchase the item for $24.99. As for other game consoles such as the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam, and iOS or Android devices, a player can purchase from its respective online stores.

"Minecraft: Story Mode" game disc version is also available at various retailers.
