The search giant Google has released the Android Marshmallow update for its Nexus handsets. However, the latest update has yet to arrive on other mobile devices. Here is the Android Marsmallow release news for Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6.

According to reports, the final code of Android Marshmallow has been made available by the company. So, Samsung can now begin working on their own updates.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 will be the first devices to receive the Android M update.

It is likely that the South Korean company will roll out the Android Marshmallow update in 2015. According to a Venture Capital Post report, Samsung has already prepared the beta version of Android Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6. However, the company has not yet pushed the Android M update builds for testing. It will be made available to Galaxy S6 owners after it has been tested.

Also, owners of Galaxy Note 4 are likely to get the latest Android Marshmallow update by the end of 2015. But there is no information on when Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Furthermore, several reports suggest that the Android M updates for other Samsung devices are also in the works.

Android Marshmallow update comes with new improvements and features. New apps permission system is one of the highlights of the Android Marshmallow update. In Android Marshmallow, the apps ask for permissions when they require to access them. Google Now On Tap, new Doze mode and native fingerprint reader support are some other new features of Android 6.0 M, PC Advisor reported.
