HP Chromebook 14 Available From Nov. 8th; Price Starting From $250; Freebies Include 100 GB Google Drive Storage and Google Play All Access For 90 Days

HP Chromebook 14 would also be available in a silver design called “Turbo Silver.”

The much-awaited HP Chromebook 14 will be available for sale in the United States from Nov. 8, with the basic model starting at $250.

HP recently refreshed the Chromebook 14 just in time of the popular Black Friday sale. This version of the Chromebook is priced at a much lower rate and is equipped with a much longer battery life. This device might actually become the ideal Christmas present for all the gadget freaks out there. 

It is also reported that the users who will purchase this device will also get 100 GB of Google Drive storage free of cost for 2 years. HP is also planning to include Google Play All access for 90 days along with free Google Play movies and free Gogo internet passes with this purchase, according to 9 to 5 Google.

The previous version of Chromebook was armed with only eight hours of battery life, while this one is armed with at least 9.5 hours. It will obviously depend on a lot of other factors such as usage as well.

This version of the Chromebook is also reported to come powered with an Intel Celeron N2840 chip along with a RAM of 2 GB. This is a step up from the NVIDIA which is found in the current version of the Chromebook 14. This device will now come as a 14-inch device with a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Another variant of this model will also be available at full 1080 pixel HD quality, according to Economic Times.

The HP Chromebook 14 refreshed version will also contain a seven-second boot up antivirus which will protect the device from all kinds of malware. It will be extremely thin and also extremely portable due to its size. It will also feature two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port along with an HDML connection.
