AlDub's hashtag ALDubEBTamangPanahon has reportedly pulled in over 38 million tweets breaking their previous record of 26 million in September. It unofficially broke the Super Bowl's tweet record of 28.4 million, which is currently the Most Tweeted Event in 2015, according to the Guinness World Record.

The Philippine noontime show took to their official Twitter account to confirm the news. It was said that even surpassed the number of tweets for the 2014 World Cup, which received 35.6 million tweets.

Eat Bulaga's Ang Tamang Panahon concert was housed in the Philippine Arena, the largest indoor arena in the world. According to the Philippine Star, the tickets were immediately sold out an hour after they announced the event. The proceeds will go to the construction of libraries in the Philippines, as well as the victims of Typhoon Lando.

"Dessert" singer Dawin also shared that he watched the event online. He said that he was excited to watch more than 55,000 people dance to his hit song.

According to Rappler, ever since Eat Bulaga's kalyeserye aired in July it trended almost everyday surprising even the executives from Twitter.

Asia Pacific and Middle East Vice President Rishi Jaitly called AlDub a "global phenomenon" when their hashtag #AlDubEBforLove pulled in 26 million tweets, just a little short from Super Bowl XLIX's 28.4 million.

"Aldub is a global phenomenon on Twitter and shows how our platform as the social soundtrack to TV has really connected Filipinos who love a good love story," he said.
