WATCH: PS4 Update 4.0 Will Possibly Include Key Missing Features

There are many things gamers wish that PS4 can do. Sony is reportedly working on an update that would address these missing features.

According to Gamesradar, an invite-only survey was posted at NeoGAF asking gamers what are the most important features that should be added to PS4.

The choices include PS2 and PS1 classics, notifications when friends are now online, 'appear offline' option, folders, delete items from library, hide or completely remove items from your library like demos, and filtering options in game libraries.

According to IGN, Playstation 4's latest 3.0 update integrated UI enhancements and all-new features. These include the dashboard and the request to 'Share Play and Broadcast,' which allows you to watch how your friends are playing the game.

Other choices in the survey include custom backgrounds, change PSN ID, download avatars, a store wish list, and an option to increase the maximum number of players in a party.

Currently, only eight players are allowed to play in a party. This can be limiting especially if you're playing something large-scale.

With Sony just releasing its most recent update, the question remains if they will release another one soon. The fact that they're asking around says a lot. They are now listening to their users more which is a win-win scenario for both the gamers and the developers.

But the survey doesn't end there. Participants were also asked when they expect Playstation will deliver the next biggest software update (i.e. Update 4.0) with the new features.

The choices include before end of 2015, January to March 2016, April to June 2016, and more dates. If you ask us, the sooner the better.
