Alpha Patch 1.3 for "Star Citizen" is now finally live and comes with various tweaks and fixes.
The patch features a social interface through which players will communicate in the game. Additionally, the patch contains a large expansion to the Arc Corp's Area 18, new emotes and Greycat buggies around the area that can be both driven and crashed, Gear Nuke reported.
The developers claim that they have introduced balance changes to the ship health as well as weapon damage. This is not the end of the good news as more numerous fixes have also been included.
For example, the Hangar Module has received a full relighting pass in an attempt to improve the overall atmosphere and look. The arena Commander module too has received some tweaks and balances to improve the "Star Citizen" gaming experience.
Robert Space Industries, the game's developer, strongly recommends a gamer to fully restart their client and launcher so as to ensure that their client is updated. Moreover, gamers are advised to delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, especially if they encounter crash on loading or an odd character pertaining graphical issues.
The developer further communicates through the official website that "Star Citizen" gamers should take full advantage the "Star Citizen" Issue Council portal in the community site to contribute to player submissions and report any bugs encountered.
Meanwhile, Robert Space Industries has promised fans that it is currently investigating the issue where players sometimes show up as enemies on Vanduul Swarm Coop.
