Batman the Dark Knight is set to appear in Patty Jenkins' forthcoming DC Comics film "Wonder Woman."
According to JoBlo, Batman was going to have a small part in Jenkins' upcoming film and it stood as the reason why Wonder Woman would also appear in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The publication noted that Batman would witness the combat between Wonder Woman and Ares the god of War.
It was also indicated that "Wonder Woman" timeline was before "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which would explain why Princess Diana of Themyscira was in Snyder's forthcoming film. According to Cinema Blend, the Dark Knight and the Amazon would know each other more in the process.
Meanwhile, Batman will be seen first in Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," serves as the path to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.
Gadot will play Wonder Woman while Chris Pine is will play Wonder Woman's love interest, Steve Trevor. Richard Suckle, Charles Roven, Stephen Jones, Geoff Johns, and Deborah Snyder, are set to produce the film while Jason Fuchs is on board to pen the film screenplay.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be aired in two separate teasers on Oct. 26 while the film is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016. Meanwhile, Jenkin's "Wonder Woman" hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
