The Legend of Zelda (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説 Hepburn: Zeruda no Densetsu?) is a high-fantasy action-adventure video game series created by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka.

"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U version might have an open world feature, according to Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma.

"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U will have a shocking twists that the followers are sure to adore says Aonuma. The Nintendo producer also recently spoke to IGN about his knowledge of the fans' feedback regarding "Zelda: Skyward Sword."

"We had a few feedback from the Skyward Sword, and the people were thinking that this game is not what they were looking for," Aonuma said in an interview with IGN.

Unfortunately, Aonuma did not make any hint of information about what the hopeful fans can look forward to from the much awaited game. He further explained that their being silent about the game's information is necessary to keep an element of surprise. While he cannot provide any details, the producer hopes to include a twist or a surprise on his concept of a game with an open world and feels hopeful that the fans will be looking forward to it.

Moreover, Aonuma also did not provide the scheduled date of release, not even any possible timeframe for "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U. The game's release date has been indefinitely moved, GameSpot reported.

"The Legend of Zelda" is also rumored to be moved from its Wii U platform to Nintendo NX, a next generation console with a release date of sometime in 2016. This is in contrast to what Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo revealed to IGN four months ago, that "The Legend of Zelda" will certainly arrive in Wii U.
