Sony recently unveiled the list of games slated for its PlayStation VR headset at the Paris Games Week conference. Sony has yet to announce the official launch date of the PlayStation VR but the recent conference gave its fans a hint of what the company is planning regarding its future in the Virtual Reality gaming market.
One of the games slated to be released for the PlayStation 4 console and the PlayStation VR is "Gran Turismo." The game's creator Kazunori Yamauchi said that the game will feature enhance physics and graphics now that it is running on a more powerful console. Yamauchi added that the game will include two FIA-backed championships that will run all throughout the year.
In a statement picked by Wired, Yamauchi said, "One is the nation's cup, in which a player will race representing their home country. The other is the Manufacturers Fan Cup." The latter game mode will allow players to race under the flag of their favorite brands.
Sony also unveiled a new trailer for "Street Fighter V." The game will be released in 2016 and will be an exclusive title for PlayStation 4. Sony also announced that "Tekken 7" is also slated to be released for the PlayStation VR.
According to The Verge, a virtual reality add-on for the horror game "Until Dawn" was also announced. New trailers for projects like the robot basketball game "Rigs: Mechanized Combat League" was also released.
Sony also revealed the multiplayer gameplay of the highly-anticipated "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." The game is slated to be released on March 18, 2016. Sony highlighted some new special abilities that were added into the game like the ability to teleport.
