NBA Rumors: Mark Cuban Doesn't "Give A S*** About The Clippers"

Mark Cuban has always been known for keeping it real in spite of the controversy it may create

After a bizarre offseason in which DeAndre Jordan agreed to join the Dallas Mavericks only to change his mind and return to the Los Angeles Clippers, it seems as though the two teams have developed a sort of rivalry which has a war of words between the two teams.

As preseason progressed it quickly died down, but with the Mavericks facing the Clippers on the 29th of October, the trash talk has reintensified.

According to Dan Woike via twitter, Mark Cuban stated "I don't give a shit about the Clippers". He then went on to say that "You can change the owner, you can change the players, but the Clippers are who they've been for the past 30 years".

This jab by Cuban hits some touchy buttons for the Los Angeles Clippers and their new fans. For the past 30 years the Clippers had been under the ownership of Donald Sterling, a man who recently was outed for his racist remarks against Magic Johnson. Sterling was known for his cheapness and unwillingness to allow the team to grow.

Under new coach Doc Rivers, new owner Steve Ballmer, and star players Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the Clippers have achieved monumental success in their standards. For most teams however, it would be considered rather mediorce considering the fact that they have failed to get out of the second round.

Chris Paul responded to Cuban's comments stating that "He has my number. He used to call me all the time when he wanted me to come to Dallas."

Doc Rivers also responded to the quotes saying "that's hurtful".

Chandler Parsons, who recruited DeAndre Jordan to almost sign with the Mavericks, was unable to play due to injury. He is joined by Deron Williams and Wesley Matthews, who also experienced their fair share of injuries. The Mavs ended up losing to the Clippers 104-88.
