Paul Bettany is the Vision in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War."

The Vision might go somewhere in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's forthcoming Marvel Comics film "Captain America: Civil War."

Sources told That Hashtag Show that The Vision, who is played by "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor Paul Bettany, would wind up in space after the events in the Russos' upcoming film. Seeing The Vision go to space would have a major impact to other forthcoming films in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, according to Cinema Blend.

The ones that would be most affected would be Taika Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok" and James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2," presumably because they are set outside the Earth. Even the Russos' upcoming two-part film "Avengers: Infinity War" could also be impacted by this story arc for The Vision.

In Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the mind gem was implanted into The Vision's forehead, serving his power source. With Thor's vision about the impending catastrophe in Asgard, J.A.R.V.I.S.' physical form could appear in the Norse dimension.

The Mad Titan Thanos is interested in getting all the Infinity Stones in Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy," for him to use his Infinity Gauntlet and take control of the cosmos. According to Cinema Blend, the mind gem would be closer to Thanos should the Vision appear in Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2."

Meanwhile, Bettany will reprise his role as the Vision in the Russos' forthcoming "Captain America: Civil War," which centers on the Accords, a law regulated by the government to limit superheroes from using their powers.

The Vision is set to team up with Iron Man's team, which reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, and Black Panther. Their team opposes Captain America's team, which includes Hawkeye, Falcon, Ant-Man, and Agent 13.

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016, Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok" will premiere in theaters on Nov. 3, 2017, while Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. The Russos' "Avengers: Infinity War - Part I" is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018 while "Avengers: Infinity - Part II" premieres on May 3, 2019.
