Pokken Tournament is an arcade fighting game developed by Bandai Namco as it features different Pokemon characters fighting in a "Tekken"style gameplay.

New 'Pokken Tournament' details will feature Mewtwo's new evolution in the game as well as rumors of the game being removed in arcades due to "Tekken 7".

A leaked gameplay video for "Pokken Tournament" showcased Mewtwo's new and darker evolution called "Dark Mewtwo" and it serves as a secret boss fight for the game, Gamerant reported. This version of Mewtwo appears to have dark grey skin with a large crystal erupting on his shoulder.

Players will fight Dark Mewtwo in special crystalline battelfield as new characters uses all of his well-known pyschic attacks with added flare of Dark based powers. It is unknown whether this version of Mewtwo will appear in other Pokemon games or just an exclusive character for "Pokken Tournament". Several gaming fans speculated that Dark Mewtwo will likely appear in "Pokelmon X and Y's" rumored sequel called "Pokemon Z".

There also theories on the crystal that is stuck in Mewtwo's shoulder as it hinted to be new type of mega stone that is unique only the pokemon or it could a man made crystal seeing as Mewtwo was artificially created as a clone of Mew in the original storyline.

In other news, there are rumors making rounds that "Pokken Tournament" could be removed from arcades in Japan.

The reason for "Pokken Tournament's" rumored removal from Japanese arcades is due to its unpopularity making the game less profitable for Bandai Namco. Someone from reddit stated that Japanese gamers were more interested in playing Bandai Namco's latest Tekken sequel, "Tekken 7" in the arcades, Destructoid reported.

There are also speculations that if this keeps up, "Pokken Tournament" will likely be removed this month and will not even be distributed in arcades within North America.

The list of playable characters in the game include Pikachu, Machamp, Lucario, Suicune, Gardevoir, Gengar, Weavile, Charizard and Blaziken. There are also support characters in the game like Lapras, Ninetails, Eevee, Whimsicott, Jirachi, Mismagius, Emolga, Fennekin, Snivy and Frogadier.

Other rumored Pokemons added to the game include Dragonite, Magmortar, Heracross, Vigoroth and Howlucha.

"Pokken Tournament" is speculated to launch on spring 2016 for the Wii U.
