Deer in Photo Shoot

A curious deer walked slowly up behind Megan Rion after she positioned the newborn baby boy Conner snuggling into a hay bale, for a woodland scene photo shoot in a Louisiana park. After the deer's "photobomb" (surprise appearance of a person or thing in a picture) last month, the image became a viral photo within 24-hours of being posted on the company's Facebook page.

Rion of Imagine That Photography was snapping photos of 1-year-old Conner in Sam Houston Jones State Park on October 20. It is in southwestern Louisiana.

She told FOX 8 that the photography team was set up to start taking pictures of baby Conner. That is when the deer named Maggie gently walked up behind them.

One of the photographers then took the cute image of the baby deer strolling into the newborn's photoshoot. Rion shared that the young animal had showed up in other photo sessions since the start of the summer.  She appears for up to 15 minutes and then walks away.

Rion's assistant used an ear of corn to cajole the little deer to look straight ahead, according to USA Today. Maggie looked in Rion's direction, and then walked towards the newborn baby and the photo setup.

The photography company's owner explained they always put one hand near the baby human, according to NYSE Post. That is because Maggie is a cute yet wild animal.

When she was younger Maggie was rescued and then dropped off at the state park. The deer has been hand-fed most of her life.

Connor's mother is Tiffany Gill Rogers. She was amazed by the photos of her baby son and the young deer.
